LINOVIVO, ONLY BY PEDERSOLI MILANO
LinoVivo is our high-quality, eco-luxury range par excellence
LinoVivo is our fabric by definition, the one that best represents the luxury of good living. It enhances all of linen’s intrinsic qualities: it is hypoallergenic, anti-static, anti-pilling – and therefore guarantees unparalleled wellbeing and maximum comfort to whoever uses it.
It’s a fiber with character, resistant and gentle, perfect to meet the needs of New Luxury and the all-Italian art of hospitality and good living.
LinoVivo is an innovative fiber made by Pedersoli Milano with the best yarn and fabric manufacturers on the market. Pedersoli Milano’s exclusive LinoVivo collection is made with pure, long staple linen of Flemish origin. To create a product that could combine features of great quality and comfort with durability and resistance to daily cleaning, Pedersoli Milano designed and developed a specific production cycle that elevates special yarns and keeps linen fibers “alive and crisp”.
IMMACULATE WELLBEING
White LinoVivo linens undergo a specific bleaching process, which uses only caustic soda with low dioxin concentration. This method respects both fibers and the environment, and guarantees improved durability to the fabric, as well as a welcoming, bright with hue.
NATURAL TONE. PURE BEAUTY.
Natural tone LinoVivo is manufactured with a particular weaving technique that gives the fabric an exclusive texture, emphasizing the purity and outstanding features of the fiber.
The bedding collection is finished with simple hemming.
SET THE TABLE WITH THE BEST.
The LinoVivo tableware collection – including tablecloths, napkins and runners – is resistant and sophisticated at the same time, and adds a touch of elegance to every meal. Each piece is finished with miter-corner hemming and available in white or natural tone.
LinoVivo is an eco-sustainable luxury.
With LinoVivo, eco-sustainability blends with the comfort of luxury.Linen: an ancient fiber.
The ancient and humble flax has countless merits and beneficial features:
- First of all, high-quality linen is the only fiber that can claim to be 100% European native, from the field to the finished product.
- It is one of the most resistant natural fibers, to the point it ranks right below special steel grades in terms of resistance to traction: this gives fabric great dimensional stability, high mechanical resistance, and durability. Furthermore, linen stands out for its unparalleled capacity to absorb humidity, which makes it ideal for any use in direct contact with the skin.
- It’s incredibly versatile: the nature, composition and architecture of flax fibers are at the base of linen’s exceptional properties, which allow for a variety of applications.
- Growing flax requires only rainwater for irrigation, and minimal amounts of chemical products; while plants grow, they absorb CO2 and release oxygen. It has been estimated that flax fields, 90% of which are in Northern Europe, France, Belgium and the Netherlands, capture up to 250,000 metric tons of CO2 a year.
- Furthermore, growing flax preserves the soil and generates biodegradable secondary products.
Today, after playing an important role in 10,000 years of mankind’s history, linen makes a grand entrance in the Third Millennium thanks to its ability to merge high quality and sustainability with style and creativity. This is its moment: its opportunity to be not only the hero of textiles, but a real ally at the side of men and women in their care and awareness for the environment.
Restful sleep always begins with LinoVivo.
Linen promotes better sleep and is suitable for all seasons, because:
- It has natural temperature-regulating properties: linen sheets in the summer absorb body heat and let the skin breathe, offering a fresh and dry feeling. In the winter, they maintain heat and regulate the body’s temperature.
- Sleeping between linen sheets supports wellbeing: specific studies have proven that this fabric helps people fall asleep faster and rest better.
- It is hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial, and does not irritate the skin.
- It relieves stress, and is resistant to electrostatic radiation and UV rays.
- It softens after each wash, and yet is one of the fabrics that best resist wear.
- Linen does not deform, and leaves no residues of any kind.
- It does not turn yellow over time, but instead tends to become increasingly candid.
